Deliverance

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to G-D must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those  who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:6

Deliverance is so simple, it sets us free from bondages.  The  word deliverance alone causes many believers to think this is  only in reference to being cured of demon possession.  While deliverance in part does have to do with casting out spirits (or rebuking them from oppressing a believer’s life), this is only one category of deliverance.  There is another bondage that requires deliverance that can sometimes have even a stronger hold: SIN.  Why must one encounter “deliverance” to be free from sin?  Because most of the time it “besets” us.  Hebrews 12:1 tells us to lay aside every sin that easily ensnares us.

G-D has already done His part in delivering you from every sin, and demonic oppression.  “It is finished” Yeshua said on the cross.  His work is completed on His side, and on this side of eternity, we must participate to have His finished work completed in us.  The next move is yours, and there are two things required on your behalf to achieve the highest level of deliverance and to be DONE with a matter.

The first requirement is to believe.  You have to have faith.  As quoted above, you must know that your Father in Heaven will reward you for your diligence in seeking Him.  Your faith must be exercised in knowing and believing He has and can deliver you.  To deny the ability to be free from a sin or a spirit is to deny the very power of G-D.  2 Timothy 3:1-5 warns us about the last days and men who are lovers of themselves, etc. having a form of godliness but denying it’s power.  These types might not just be “worldly people” that are easily detected.  Rather, they could very well be believers who are given over to intelligence over faith, maybe those who put too much creed into media, medical journals and statistics. Although all these references have their place, they are not THE authority over the Word of G-D.  I have a dear sister in my life, whom I love very much but she insists she can’t be delivered from something because “it’s impossible” at her age.  Others say they can’t receive a healing because  “the doctor says it can’t happen.”  My response is, “who made the doctor G-D?” She suffers from a spirit of doubt.   All Yeshua had to say to the leper after he was healed was “your faith has made you well.“  I have several doctor friends, and a couple of them are believers and they know I respect them and even consult them with a question at times.  However, they and I both know that spirituality rules over the physical and that G-D is G-D first.  If He equips these godly men to be able to heal by practicing medicine, then He may choose to go that route.  But if they see something they can’t intervene with, they don’t give up hope, they continue to trust G-D.  Faith must prevail.

The second requirement is you have to be WILLING to let go of what ever it is you need deliverance from.  You have to WANT to be freed from your addiction.  You have to WANT to obey G-D.  And, sometimes that stronghold of not wanting to let go is a spirit, or, it is a comfort zone of the flesh.  Sometimes our bodies/minds get so used to a certain way of life that we are afraid to come out of a dysfunction and become whole and healthy again, or for some, to become healthy for the first time.  I tell you, any fear that motivates you to run from deliverance is also a spirit.  2 Timothy 1:7 says, “G-D does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.”  Fear is of a spirit, a demonic spirit.  You must rebuke fear frequently in your life if you suffer from it.  Fear and doubt have no business having any place in the believers life.

Another extremely huge stronghold is un-forgiveness.  Read Matthew 18:21-35.  This is a serious warning to us if we don’t forgive in our hearts, we will not be forgiven either.  We must always remember for what the Father has forgiven us for so that we may forgive others.  If we fail to forgive, we jeopardize our own ability to receive forgiveness.  I have a forgiveness exercise posted below that I think will change your life dramatically as it has changed mine.  My “spiritual mother” from South Africa gave me this exercise and I have literally sensed the power of the Holy Spirit come upon me and even give me compassion and mercy for those of whom I’ve had to forgive.  I pray you will also take a chance on this exercise if you are struggling in your heart with a root of un-forgiveness or a root of bitterness towards someone in your life.  Get free today!  Just by letting some of these things go, you will see deliverance in your own life from strongholds that are tied to these things.

Also, linked on this page you will find instructions on how to spiritually cleanse your home.  I firmly believe in taking back the territory that G-D has given over to you.  Your home, your church, where ever you walk.  G-D told Moses he was to take off his shoes because he was on Holy ground.  (Exodus 3:5).  He wasn’t in the promised land of milk and honey yet, it wasn’t about physical location, he was at Mt. Horeb, in the wilderness.  It had to do with being in G-D’s presence.  Today, we as believers are more so in His presence all the time because we are His Temple (1 Corinthians 6:19).  We must sanctify our homes and sanctuaries spiritually unto the L-rd.  Dedication and declaration are powerful words spoken in faith.  Just as the doorposts of the Hebrews were marked with the blood so the angel of death would pass over them, so it is that we are marked with Yeshua’s blood and eternal death passes over us.  Our dwellings should also be anointed and “marked” spiritually  as Joshua said, “As for me and my house we will serve the L-rd.”

I want to encourage you today that NOTHING, is impossible for G-D to deliver you from.  All you have to do is believe, and receive.  It may require you to keep your own heart in check, it may require you to have an accountability partner and you must be HONEST with yourself and what’s going on in your own heart.  Because the human heart is “wicked and deceitful” and we are our own worst deceivers.

I can testify that I have watched women be delivered from addictions: drinking, smoking, men; lying, selfishness, adultery, and all kinds of subliminal strongholds that have prevented a deeper walk with G-D.

YOU too, can be delivered today!
